I have over 10 years of experience administering psychological testing to both children and adults for a variety of different purposes. Currently, I offer the following assessment services:
COMPREHENSIVE PSYCHODIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION
This type of assessment is conducted when an individual would like to learn about the specific issues they are struggling with, how these problems may have originated, developed, and are currently being sustained, and to explore targeted treatment options. My comprehensive evaluation includes a detailed semi-structured clinical interview, a structured diagnostic assessment, the administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized testing materials, and the collection of collateral information. At the conclusion of the evaluation, the client will receive verbal feedback on the evaluation, and a detailed detwritten report that includes organized information summarizing personal and psychological history, test results and interpretation, a cognitive-behavioral case formulation, multi-axial diagnosis (if needed), and summary and recommendations for treatment.
PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL TESTING FOR YOUTH
This type of evaluation is usually conducted for children and adolescents, useful to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral strengths and weaknesses of the youth and to make recommendations for specific services and interventions (e.g., speech therapists, special accomodations in the classroom) that may help the youth to improve specific areas of functioning. A psychoeducational testing includes a set of assessment procedures administered and interpreted to obtain information about the child’s development, learning, memory, academics, behavior and mental health. Different assessment procedures are used depending upon the referral questions, presenting problems and the past tests administered with careful consideration of cultural differences and possible impairments in speech/language, hearing, vision and motor development. Current status of basic health care, hearing and vision will also be established.
The evaluation is conducted using different sources and assessment methods (norm-referenced, criterion-referenced tests, screeners/checklists, self-report ratings, observation, and review of history and development). At the conclusion of the evaluation, the parents of the youth will receive verbal feedback on the evaluation, and a written report that summarizes and interprets the results of the testing. Parents often find it helpful to share these results with individuals working with the child (such as teachers, principals, and parent advocates), and sometimes the child, if appropriate. At parents' request, I will also hold a group meeting for individuals working with the child to review the testing results, and assist in intervention development, accomodations, and service delivery planning.

FORENSIC EVALUATION AND SERVICES
This type of evaluation is an assessment of individual often used in legal settings to document a wide variety of psychologically relevant information, including work-related emotional injury, fitness for duty for high stress jobs, the capacity to adequately parent a minor child, evaluation of malingering and deception, employment discrimination and harassment, and professional licensing disputes. I conduct forensic assessments in a variety of civic legal proceedings including the area of personal injury, workers' compensation, child custody, professional licensing, and other areas of labor and administrative law. I work closely with the client, his/her lawyer, and/or the court to ensure that the assessment conducted will address the client's specific needs for the case.
All forensic evaluations include review of all pertient legal and clinical documentation, clinical interviewing, collateral data gathering, and the administration of psychological testing and specialized forensic assessments (where appropriate). At the conclusion of the evaluation, verbal feedback will be provided, and a written report will be prepared that includes specific sections that pertain to the assessment purpose, as well as test interpretation and recommendations. I am also available to testify about my assessment methods, results, and conclusions as an expert witness.
All evaluations are conducted in accordance with the Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, Specialty Guidelines for Forensic Psychologists, and Standards in Education and Psychological Testing.
