CHALLENGE: Thank You Note Challenge
I’d love for you to reclaim the lost art of a handwritten thank you card! There is no replacement for a handwritten thank you card. I know it’s much easier to send a thank you by email, but writing a thank you card by hand conveys to the person that they are worth the extra effort. They can feel your personal touch through your handwriting, get a glimpse into your personality and sense of style, and have a tangible memento of your appreciation. Also, when we write, our thoughts naturally have to slow down a bit, because we can’t write as quickly as we type. So, your deeper gratitude is much more likely to come through on paper as well. Today, I’m sending out three thank you notes to people I really appreciate in my life. I’d love to see you take on a new ritual for #ThankfulThursday to write and mail 1 thank you card each week. And the added benefit? It feels SO good to give - so taking the time to appreciate someone actually comes back to you in the form of self-care too! Are you up to the challenge?
