*HOLIDAY* WELLNESS: How to Stay Calm During the Holiday Frenzy

It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving! Here are my top tips for staying calm during the #holiday frenzy!⁣

  • STOP TRYING TO DO TOO MUCH. Who says you have to cook a 5 course meal, plus provide the entertainment, plus have your #Christmas tree up? Delegate and outsource when you can so you free up time to actually enjoy your time with loved ones.⁣

  • PREP THE NIGHT BEFORE. Anything you can do the night before, do! Baked goods and side dishes usually sit well overnight, so get those out of the way before the big day.⁣

  • HAVE AN "END" OR "EXIT" TIME. Just because you open up your home to others does not mean it’s a free for all. Set an end time for your party! And if you’re a guest, set an “exit” time for yourself. No need to be there for 6 hours if you don’t want to!

  • START A DEVICE-FREE TREND! Tell everyone you’d like to have no devices during the gathering. Maybe some will protest initially but check out how peaceful and connected you’ll feel once people settle.⁣ ⁣
