WELLNESS TIP: Take a Quick Mental Break
No matter where you are and what you have going on, you can take a quick mental break! Sometimes it’s not possible for us to step away for a vacation. But every single day, you should try to plan at least 1 mental break from the hustle and bustle. This little #routine can help reduce #burnout, increase your energy levels, and gives you some much needed breathing room so that you can return to your responsibilities with a renewed gusto! Some simple rules to follow: 1. Set aside anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. 2. Decide what you’re going to do in advance - and make it fun! 3. Schedule it in your calendar like a meeting or appointment. I’ve got a lot on my plate this evening, but I’m making some time to take a quick walk on the beach just after sunset before I head back to work. What will you do?
