Judy Ho, Ph. D., ABPP, ABPdN, CFMHE
Dr. Judy is a Licensed and triple board certified Clinical and Forensic and Neuropsychologist, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and extensive experience working with clients of all ages, facing a variety of challenges and issues. She specializes in Comprehensive Psychological Testing and specializes training in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Behavior Management. She offers services as a Forensic Expert Witness, and as a TV/Media Consultant for a variety of television, radio and media outlets - contributing psychological expertise, narration, analysis and hosting.

Dr. Judy is a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She teaches Psychopathology, Treatment Methods, Research Methodology, Cognitive Assessment, and Statistical Analyses to doctoral and master students in Psychology. She is also the Chair of the Pepperdine Graduate and Professional Schools Institutional Review Board.
Dr. Judy has been a research investigator for over 20 years, and hosts a busy research program focused on improving mental health services for the community. She regularly contributes clinical research manuscripts to national and International psychological journals, and writes chapter contributions for mental health textbooks and research articles illuminating issues regarding mental health treatment for high need populations.

- PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES -
Dr. Judy currently serves as Consulting Neuropsychologist at Bridges To Recovery, an inpatient residential treatment center for adults, and as a Consulting Neuropsychologist at Milestones Ranch Malibu, a dual-diagnoses residential treatment center for adults.
Dr. Judy is a featured doctor on MedCircle, the most trusted source for mental health education for patients, supporters, and healthcare workers.
She conducts regular trainings for mental health providers with the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health (LADMH), has previously acted as a Neuropsychological Trainer and Consultant for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Legacy Project, and as a Clinical Consultant on the Community Partners in Care Project/Reach NOLA Project.
Dr. Judy spearheads her own clinical research aimed at improving mental health care for low income families and has acted as a consultant for Vericare, offering bilingual mental health services to Mandarin speaking patients.
She first-authored a chapter examining effective interventions for Conduct Disorder, and another chapter reviewing mental health status, treatment, and outcomes for ethnic minority families. She edited a book titled "Immigrants: Acculturation, Socioeconomic Challenges, and Cultural Psychology".
Dr. Judy has a special interest in the Performing Arts and developed a prevention program called the STAGES Project that utilizes Art and Music as the bases of therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents.
- EDUCATION & ACCOLADES -
Dr. Judy received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology (B. A.) and Business Administration (B. S.) from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed her masters (M. S.) and doctoral degrees (Ph. D.) in Clinical Psychology at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine / San Diego State University Joint Doctoral Program.
She is a two-time recipient of the National Institute of Mental Health Services Research Award (2004, 2008), and completed a three year National Institute of Mental Health sponsored postdoctoral fellowship in Child Psychiatry at the University of California Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric (Semel) Institute.
Dr. Judy became a board certified specialist (ABPP) through the prestigious American Board of Professional Psychology in 2011, and currently serves on the ABPP Examination Committee. In 2015 she became a board certified specialist (CFMHE) through the National Board of Forensic Evaluators. In 2019, she became board certified through the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology, where she serves on the Finance Dommittee and Membership Committee.
